Film Industry assessment learner response

  1) Type up your feedback in  full  (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential). WWW- This is a strong assessment with a couple of useful lessons to push us towards an A grade. EBI- Question focus is critical for Q3. More focus on Hesmondhalgh would help for example: Q1 needs a tiny bit of revision of regulation. 2) Read  the mark scheme for this assessment  carefully. Write down the number of marks you achieved for the three questions: _/3; _/6; _/9. If you  didn't achieve full marks  in a question, write a bullet point on what you may have missed. Q1: 2/3 -protects audience (children) from certain content Q2:6/6 Q3:6/9 -Hesmondhalgh: commodification, distribution strategy crash with yesterday with stars like Ed Sheeran and director Richard. 3) For  Question 2  on the promotion of  Blinded By The Light , use the mark scheme to identify  at least one  strategy used to promote the film that you  didn't  mention in your answer and  why

Write your own definition. A serial television drama is something that it tells  a story, and a narrative resolution, in a number of parts over a period of time. Usually novels are recreated or serialised into television  broadcast over a number of episodes. 2) List five of the TV dramas discussed in the history of the genre on page 1 of the factsheet. How has the genre evolved over time? Doctor Who, The Avengers, Danger Man, The Sweetener and Minder. 3) List the sub-genres of TV drama featured in the factsheet. Film regulation and the BBFC

  1) Research the   BBFC  in more detail: what is the institution responsible for? How is it funded? What link does it have to government? This   history of the BBFC page   may help. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit, and is responsible for regulating films for the public.
