I believe the storyline consists of an detective who chases down a femme fatale villain who subverts their original stereotype.

The genre will be a hybrid of sci-fi and action.

I think the target audience are older teenager going into their 20s.

A Parody that mocks the traditional genre of horror movies. It also recreates famous clichés that are instantly recognisable and nostalgic.

This is a hybrid of horror and comedy. It is also a spoof/parody.

This movie targets teenagers and young adults.

This is a journey of self discovery where this man adventures to find a place he belongs in.

This is drama and mystery with a tragedy.

This is aimed at a smaller group of adults aged past 20 who watch it in more smaller less known cinema's.

I think this is about the dangerous adventure of a kid who discovers something unexpected in a hole.

This is a mystery and thriller while carrying hints of crime.

This is targeted at teenagers who might relate to the younger boy who is the protagonist.

This film might be action packed where a detective hunts down evil or people who have committed sin in his city in order to bring justice.

This is a combination of crime, drama and action.

There is more of an appeal to an older audience from the black and white poster giving a vintage vibe to this crime story.

The storyline may consist of pirates who go an adventure in order to complete a quest faced with dangerous obstacles.

This is action, fantasy and may even include a hint of romance.

This is aimed at teenagers who enjoy the aspect of fantasy and fiction.

I think it is about the career of a female boxer who portrays her struggles as a fighter in order to obtain her end goals.

This might be action based .

This could target teenagers, especially females who also aspire to achieve their dreams or pursue boxing.

Mise-en-scene

    1) Find a distinctive   still image   and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson.  The women is seen to be wearing a wedding dress as if she is about to get married or has just made her vows. The colour of white can connote her innocence and youth as wedding are seen as sacred. However the props of a gun and bullet contrast with this idea as they appeal the thought of violence and destruction. This harsh difference highlights how an unexpected event has caused for the bride to have become a solider at war. The setting show a dim living room lit by candles to reveal the genre of horror or thriller. This lighting is able to outline her messy hair and show her torn and dirtied dress. Her make-up seems to be purposely been created to be dark, smudged and quite dirty looking to reflect her hardship she might have gone through or an unexpected event that has occurred making her emotionless and perhaps traumatised.   1) Still image analysis Look at the still images on slides 33-37 of the Film Language Powerpoint linked above. Copy the images into your blog and answer the following questions for  each  image: Identify examples of  high  and  low-key  lighting. Say which depict  top ,  back  or  under lighting . What  effects  are created by the lighting in each image?      Image 1:  This image shows a female with low key lighting and is includes both back and top lighting. This creates dramatic shadows across her face and is able to reveal the smoke released from her cigar. This lighting also covers the location reinforcing genre of mystery and crime. Image 2: This is low key with top lighting. This can suggest how the blackness is taking over as her facial features are the only part lit up. This can also show genre of noir from the female. Image 3: This image can be a mix of high and low key as there is a contrast on his face while there is soft lighting surrounding him to show how he is outdoors
