Video rough cut learner response

Video rough cut feedback     Comments & feedback:   There are some strong elements here – good lip-syncing in the performance sections, some creative shots and locations. The challenge now is to work on the overall structure of the video as it feels like you perhaps don’t have enough material for the full three minutes? The brand identity and shoe sponsorship elements are in there but could you make a bit more of them? Great to see you’ve included it though. The non-performance elements are quite patchy – you’ve got some good, creative shots but also some weaker shots. Did you consider adding effects, colour grading or some other post-production element to those sections? Think about what could work with the song here. Generally, I think it’s worth reflecting on the overall three-minute structure when re-editing the final cut. Print brief research and planning

1) Find at least  five  music magazine front covers  (either current or former magazines as many have stopped their print editions) aimed at a similar target audience to your project (mainstream music audience) and research music magazine key conventions. For each one, pick out  one design idea, convention  or   image/text style  that you could use in your own print work.  I like two design ideas from this poster, first the high angle shot taken of Beabadoobee and secondly, the background using graphic arts to create this sort of illusion. I like the font of the text as the way it has been position on the right side making it easier to read alongside the main mage. What makes it better is that the slant given to all the text fits together with the angle the photo was taken.
